FutureHacks
What is FutureHacks?
FutureHacks is a virtual hackathon hosted by TechShare built to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers. We believe young people have the creativity and drive to tackle real-world challenges, and this is their opportunity to prove it. Whether you're writing your first line of code or have been building for years, this hackathon is open to students of all backgrounds and experience levels. Our goal is to give children and young learners a space to learn, practice programming, and see firsthand how technology can make a difference.

There are no restrictions on tools, languages, or platforms. Use whatever you're most comfortable with, whether that's Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or anything else. The goal is to build something you're proud of, so choose the tools that help you do that best.
No — all project work must be started and completed during the hackathon window (June 24–28). You're welcome to brainstorm ideas and learn new skills beforehand, but no code or designs submitted may have been created before the event begins.
Projects will be evaluated on creativity and originality, technical execution, real-world impact, and how well the idea is presented. Judges will take your experience level into account, so beginners and advanced participants are assessed fairly.
Participation is completely free! Simply register and show up. Our goal is to make this opportunity as accessible as possible for students everywhere.
You can build almost anything: a website, mobile app, game, tool, or creative tech project. The only requirement is that your project is built during the hackathon window (June 24–28). Projects that solve real-world problems or use technology in creative ways are especially encouraged.
Submission details and the submission link will be shared with all registered participants before the event. All projects must be submitted by 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 28th. Late submissions will not be accepted, so plan your time accordingly!
You do! Participants retain full intellectual property rights to everything they build. The hackathon does not claim any ownership over your project. We encourage you to keep building and improving your work after the event.
